Grupo Baux – Compañía Valenciana de Aluminio Baux, an international reference in the production of coated rolled aluminium and a leader in circular economy, has strengthened its sustainability strategy with one of the largest photovoltaic self-consumption installations in the sector.
Together with Helexia Spain, its Segorbe plant is positioning itself at the forefront of heavy industry by integrating large-scale renewable energy to reduce the environmental impact of its high-value-added production processes.
Service Description
The scale of this installation reflects the ambition of the project, developed across an extensive ground-mounted area to maximise clean energy generation and optimise the use of the available space.
With the integration of 5,278 latest-generation photovoltaic modules, the plant reaches an installed capacity of 3,140 kWp, becoming a driver of competitiveness by directly supplying the group’s production lines with renewable energy.
