On 7 and 8 October, Helexia’s engineering community came together in Lisbon for SPARK 2026, our annual Engineering Seminar, bringing together colleagues from several European countries and different areas of expertise.
Over two days, teams shared experiences from real projects, discussed emerging energy solutions, and explored how closer collaboration, common engineering practices and digital tools can help us continuously improve the way we design and deliver energy projects. From solar and energy storage to engineering standards, digitalisation and AI, the discussions reflected how rapidly the energy landscape is evolving and the increasingly important role Engineering plays throughout the lifecycle of a project.
More than a technical seminar, SPARK is about sharing knowledge across countries, learning from experience and strengthening collaboration across the Group. Because many of the challenges faced in one market have already been addressed in another, connecting our engineering community helps turn individual experience into collective knowledge.
