Energy investments can help companies reduce costs, improve energy resilience and strengthen long-term competitiveness. However, for many organisations, implementing such projects requires significant capital, internal resources and coordination between multiple contractors.

Through a new partnership, Helexia Poland and Hymon Powered by Kajima are combining their expertise to offer companies an integrated model covering project analysis, financing, implementation and long-term asset management. The partnership brings together two teams experienced in delivering large-scale energy projects for business customers.

Helexia develops and manages energy solutions for corporate clients, including projects such as the 1.14 MWp photovoltaic installation for Auchan Retail Polska in Płock, with estimated annual production exceeding 1 GWh.

Hymon Powered by Kajima delivers large-scale renewable energy projects in Poland, including one of the country’s largest distributed photovoltaic programmes for Netto, covering more than 300 installations. Together, both companies provide solutions for industry, manufacturing, logistics and retail, combining photovoltaic systems, BESS energy storage solutions and energy efficiency measures into one coordinated process.

One process, clear responsibilities

The partnership is designed to simplify the investment process for customers.

Helexia is responsible for project development, technical and economic modelling, financing and long-term asset management.

Hymon Powered by Kajima provides technological and execution expertise – from engineering analysis and solution design, through equipment selection, logistics and installation, to commissioning and servicing.

As a result, customers can move from the initial business case to operational energy infrastructure through one coordinated process, without the need to manage multiple suppliers independently. Depending on the selected financing model, the solution can also be structured without requiring the customer to commit its own CAPEX.

Anna Dobrowolska, Country director of Helexia Poland, explains:

“We did not want to create another cooperation based simply on recommending each other’s services. We wanted to build a single process for the client. Helexia is responsible for project analysis, technical and economic structuring, financing and long-term asset management. Hymon brings technological and execution capabilities, designing, building and commissioning infrastructure including PV installations and BESS energy storage. Together, we can support the client from the first financial calculations to fully operational energy infrastructure, while remaining responsible for its performance over the following years.”

Starting with the customer’s business, not the technology

The foundation of the partnership is a simple principle: an energy solution should respond to the customer’s business needs. That is why every project begins with an analysis of factors such as energy consumption profile, technical conditions, expected economic return, available capital, exposure to price volatility and operational requirements. Only after this assessment is the appropriate solution defined. Depending on the customer and the site, this may include:

  • photovoltaic generation;
  • battery energy storage systems;
  • energy efficiency improvements;
  • or a combination of several technologies.
A manufacturing plant, logistics centre and retail network operate under different conditions and have different priorities. For one company, reducing energy costs may be the main objective; for another, it may be greater predictability of operating expenses, limited CAPEX exposure or improved energy security. For this reason, energy decisions cannot be based only on the price per MWh. A successful project must consider the broader financial, operational and strategic context of the business.

From financial modelling to operating infrastructure

The Helexia Poland and Hymon Powered by Kajima model supports both individual projects and larger portfolios of sites. By combining financing, engineering, execution and long-term asset management, both companies aim to make energy transformation simpler and more accessible for businesses.

Two partners. One process. From financial modelling to operating energy infrastructure.
