As a supplier to the automotive industry, Huf is committed to helping its customers reduce the climate impact of car production and circulation. Sustainability is also an important part of the company’s values. Huf is working towards reducing CO2 emissions, with a goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2030 at the latest.

Huf is a member of the UN Global Compact and provides annual reports on its activities related to environmental protection. This includes a commitment to continuous improvement across the entire value chain, from the factories around the world to the end product.

As part of its efforts to reduce its environmental impact, Huf aims to reduce its energy consumption by 2% per year and increase the use of renewable energy by 20% per year by 2030. In order to reach their goal, solar rooftops and carports were installed with the help of Helexia on their site of Tondela in Portugal.
